Description

An easy to use interface to take XML feeds from your site (via XML Syndication (another module)....creating lightweight, easy to use slide shows for your site visitors. Whether you want to feature cover stories, photos, events, client testimonials or daily tips....this is a great module to let users view content without having to dig through your site, or reload the webpage. Let them page through what they want to see.....and click on that item for the extended (full record) information.

How To Use

This module is found under the Design tab of your client console. You may want to visit it first to get familiar with it, as there are many settings. Next, you will want to create an XML feed of the content you wish to serve. (Please see XML Syndication). When you create your XML feed....copy and paste it into the Design Slide Show module record. This will give it the raw data feed it will need to serve your content.

Next, determine what size of slide show will display, what colors, background images, etc. that you want to use....and also if you would like it to Autoplay, and if so....at what speed. Once you adjust all these settings, click submit. This will provide you with a link, that when clicked on will give you a 'script'. This script can now be copied and pasted into any section of the site that you want (homepage, ad area, etc.). Pasting this script will guarantee that your slide show will play in that area.

Once this process is completed you never need to update this content again. As new records are managed within your site.
