Purpose
This module was developed to allow for the management of online advertisements including html, third party ad scripts, banner images, and flash files. This module supports all ad sizes, and third party technologies (such as Doubleclick, Adjuggler, etc.) This module allows for advertisements to be managed per site, per site section or specific to keywords searched within the portal for targeted advertising. This module can utilize traffic reporting of the Ad Banner Manager module, but may also use third party traffic reporting and related scripts.
Description
This module provides administrators every field needed to keep up with the many types of advertisements that need to be managed within your portal.
NOTE: This module also supports third party code, which is sometimes needed (within the page that the ad is served) to work in unison with other vendors (Doubleclick), and further allows you to segment advertisements to specific channel sites within your portal, or even to types of members to your site (public vs. member based areas of your site.)
How To Use
Simply enter in the advertiser, including the necessary code (either third party script, upload banner, upload flash, or copy and paste necessary html or API). You are able to associate a keyword relationship with each add, to allow people searching your site to be served this ad in their search results. You can assign this ad to show up within certain sections of your site, relative to site navigation areas, audience types (channel sites within your site), homepage only within specific sections, order they appear (if they happen to share space with other advertisers).
You can additionally assign 'which' users see this advertisement, based on the Audience Type, Site, Access Level of the advertiser record....ensuring that only the right users see the right 'type' of ad.

Support of third party script enables you to take advantage of existing or more robust ad reporting (if Centralpoint's ad banner management tool is not robust enough for you), and had to be developed in this way, as many clients choose to use or are forced to use other ad banner tracking tools.
