Purpose

This module was created to prevent human error in failure to schedule or validate database backups of your portal or site. This scheduling tool empowers you to determine the frequency of the backup, of the portal, sites, database, AND media files. Often database backups alone will forget ancillary media files and attachments. This utility backs up and zips the entire site for quick retrieval and recovery

Description

This tool is located within the Admin tab of your Client Console. Simply create a new record, including the frequency and details of your backup, and once submitted these backups will run on your site automatically. If you do not have access to this module, please contact your Oxcyon production manager, and they will gladly and immediately turn this on for you. It is in your best interest and your responsiblity to schedule these back ups (on off peak hours) to guarantee complete back up. If you are hosted with Oxcyon, your NetworkAdmin contact is responsible for backing up your site, but we think you will have added piece of mind knowing that you can do it 'too'. When it comes to back ups we and our clients would always rather be safer than sorry.
