Purpose
All modules within Centralpoint have been integrated with major subscription/fulfillment companies to better service publishing clients. As publishers move toward paid content business models, it is imperative that they are able to integrate with their live subscription/fulfillment companies. This integration gives them the ability to serve private content to subscribers, public content to non-subscribers, and the ability to prompt public visitors to become members (via subscription).

Centralpoint has integrated with major subscription/fulfillment companies to better service publishing clients. We have currently integrated a seamless, streamlined solution available 'out-of-the-box' with CDS, CWC, Omeda, Hallmark, Stark Services, PCD, and Centralpoint's own 'member' module....for those publishers who manage their circulation internally (with their own systems).
The out of the box integration with these vendors implies that we are able to recognize paid vs. non paid subscribers, and serve content to each respectively. These integrations allow members to be welcomed by name, and because the integration occurs with live data from the fulfillment company...there is no risk of an expired client gaining access to your paid or private content. Customization to these integrations can be considered on a case by case basis, and would represent a custom charge for any customization beyond what is currently available.
How To Use
The first thing you will want to do is to set your site property to integrate with the fulfillment or subscription company of choice. Next, you will want to set up each module in your portal to control what types of content paid members (subscribers) see, and which ones public visitors see.
You will want to obtain the online subscription form link from your vendor and enter it into the re-direct links if you are using teaser display. This will ensure that non-authenticated users will be re-directed to online subscription in order to subscribe before gaining access to that content.
Alias ID's within your Audience Types, Sites, Site Navigation and modules will need to be applied so that Centralpoint can handshake these 'types' with the various areas of the site that you would like to give subscribers access to. This will allow you to control which site areas subscribers are able to access, vs. non-subscribers.
Tips About This Module
Many online fulfillment/subscription companies offer live access to your members. For those that do not, meaning their information is merely synchronized periodically...you may not want to use this option. Instead, you can manage your own member community without integration with the fulfillment company, saving money, and periodically synchronizing (using data export data import) with their dataset, as they do. Be sure to ask your fulfillment company if the member database is live data or not. If not, you can save yourself a lot of money, but merely managing members yourself.

Once they are a paid subscriber, they can log in (validating against your fulfillment/subscription database) and gain access to both public and private content.
