Centralpoint authenticates with LDAP, Active Directory, and custom versions of security (SSO, Circulation, etc.) to allow each member access to the right Audience (microsite(s)), the right records, and even down to the field level display of a particular record. Example, a public user searching physician directory may show basic public fields. A Nurse logging in (against AD) can view the same record in the same or different site, and see fields a public user would not see at all. Even the layout of the record can be modified by site, and by member, based on his or her roles.
