Purpose

This module was developed to allow the user control over the image or flash header found within any Site Navigation Section.

Description

This module allows you to assign an image or flash element, which will appear within the top header of your Site Navigation sections. These would be the primary navigation elements of your site, which may contain modules and core pages within them. This header will help to remind the user of what section they are in, and assists in the general and overall design of your site.

Example: A section called 'About Us' may offer a flash or image section header which appears above the actual Site Navigation for About us, and can also appear for all subsequent pages within this section (while searching modules within this section, or core pages within this section)...reminding the user of which 'section' they are in at all times.

How To Use

This module is found within the Design tab of your Client Console. Simply click on Section Headers, and apply either an image or flash assigning which Site Navigation 'section' it belongs to. You can apply as many or as few of these as you would like, to the main site (site navigation) or to the Audience types or sites (site navigation).

You may also manage different section headers for different 'types' of members to your site, allowing the header to appear different between private vs. public visitors to your site. This assumes that you would have two sets of these designs, to welcome each group differently.

A Site Property entitled Display Section Header is set to a default value of '0' meaning that the section header will ONLY appear for the site navigation record itself. If you change this site property to '1', the section header will remain active for ALL pages within your site navigation record. (Assuming that you have both modules and core pages serving within this section).
