Oxcyon believes in a Train the Trainer approach. This means leaving your staff with the knowledge they need to maintain their site after it is launched. Depending on your needs, it may also mean providing you the training to create new sites for others.
Based on our intuitive user interface, Centralpoint training is straight forward. It is easy enough to be accomplished via online via web conference.
We also make available online tools for online training. Since Centralpoint was developed for non-technologists yielding a point and click, drag and drop technology...training is really reduced to only specific workflow functions of more elaborate tools. If you know how to copy and paste, you already know how to use 80% of the tools available within Centralpoint.
Training is typically customized around each of our clients needs and objectives. The introductory training is the same for all, but some clients may focus more on Buyers Guide Directories, others E-Commerce, XML Syndication, Newsletter publishing, Healthcare, etc. Because the verticals we service are varied and disparate...training is subtley different for each...focusing on just the modules being used. The more modules you use, the more training is required.
For larger clients and partners who are charged with delivering solutions for 'their' clients.....Centralpoint training includes CPMMC Training (Mastersite Management Console) including custom module development, LDAP/AD integration, AJAX , XSLT integration and more empowering them with these types of go to market knowledge:
Centralpoint has been designed for NON-Technologists in mind, however it is used by many different types of people. Oxcyon provides an online, search-able knowledge base for you and your users to learn about the many features, benefits, tips, and processes available within the system.
From ADVANCED USER topics such as: Creating new functions, Managing Stylesheets, and custom development to simple processes such as "How Do I upload an image"....Knowledge Base represents an accumulation of many Frequently asked questions and answers.
We don't believe in manuals. Nobody reads them, and they are frankly, boring. Technology moves too fast to keep up with any documentation. Knowledge Base expands as Centralpoint does, 're-using' the knowledge capital of its many users to make your life easier, and 'eliminate aggravation' found with more cumbersome tools.
