This module was developed to allow anonymous log in for members to a portal. This log in allows dealers, distributors or external members of a site (extranet) to gain restricted access to specific areas of your site. Each member can be welcomed to their specific area of the site (whether it be region specific or product line specific). Different options per member can also be controlled, giving more access to owners, and limited access to service technicians, for an example.

Audience Administrators Audience Administrators
This module was developed to enable 'multiple' administrators to contribute content to a portal or individual sites within a portal. This module allows individual content managers to be assigned to specific areas of the site, including limitation of specific content types. These administrators (able to access the portal from anywhere in the world) can either post freely to the site, or may be subject to editorial review. Editorial review entails the email notification of content posted to their assigned editor, where it is review, and approved for 'release' to the site. Each module within Centralpoint offers a 'Posting Status' value, which allows for either 'Release or Hold' status to be placed on a document. This is because of the need for multiple administrators and the editorial review which controls these values
Audiences Audiences
This module was developed to distribute controls beyond the Main Site administrator to create second tier sites beneath allowing segmentation of content site-wide by 'Audience'. An Audience often represents a microsite, living under the main brand. This may mean regional hospital site, if a health network, department site if a single hospital, or could group individual magazine titles, if a publisher. Basically Audiences allow you to properly segment and distribute information to your individual Audiences (as they differ). Each can have their own adminstrators, URL, and design schema...allowing you to manage many individual projects from one central point.

This module was created to prevent human error in failure to schedule or validate database backups of your portal or site. This scheduling tool empowers you to determine the frequency of the backup, of the portal, sites, database, AND media files. This module was developed to allow integration with Centralpoint's email broadcasting tools and bounceback reporting. This tool allows you to define the username and password to access the email address (on your server) in order to automatically check for bad emails (bounced) and change values to those recipients. This tool allows integration with bad mail folders on your server in the case of valid email addresses that you use to 'send' emails. If alias emails are used, this function is also performed but validation is not required.

This module was designed to allow data mining of user activity and site traffic for valuable business intelligence. This information covers everything from collaborative filtering, to lead generation to compliance monitoring. See and extract detailed information on who read what articles when. The same type of search can be done by 'member' showing you a list of all records read by record, able to be exported and offered as 'compliance' to human resources or legal. In reality, however, there are a number of webpages within a site which do not belong in any 'organized' container (or module). In essence, these 'orphan' web pages need a way to be managed, and is why this module was developed.

This tool was designed to handshake with incoming feeds from PR Newswire. As more and more publishers syndicate content for their site, this tool lets you schedule the pick up, import and even archival deletion of news stories from PR Newswire....keeping your site up to date with relevant (search-able) content. Unlike simple RSS Feeds, this content lives on your site, and can be searched and related to other content in your site.

There are three modules which allow for these controls: 1.) Admin/Site Modules, 2.) Admin/Premium Content, and 3.) Advertisers/Gateways. Depending on the type of abstract methodology you elect to use, will determine which of these modules you will use.
 
First, the Admin/Premium Content module empowers you to establish how abstract is managed. This modules give you the control over how many characters are to display, what the icon is (if any) to let public visitors know which records are private or not, and the message to be served (beneath) the abstracted or shortened version of that record.

Intended Use: Allows for a re-direct library to be maintained to preserve page names and URLs with your new Centralpoint pages. Too often, client have asked to be able to preserve old page names that their users may have bookmarked, or kept being able to point them directly to the new page within Centralpoint.

In other words: Point users trying to get to your old page locations, to your new Centralpoint pages.

The module allows friendly re-direct links to be created for any page on your site. This lets you rename your pages with longer query strings to read any way that you want them to...creating links which may be easier to print or convey to your clients.
Reference URLsReference URLs
This is not an actual module, but rather a webpage which lives within the Client Console. This webpage provides a common set of links used to manage particular touchpoints within the portal. Links to commonly accessed tools like: Search, Advanced Search, Member Login, Member Profile, Register are functions within Centralpoint in which you would need links in order to reference them. This page is updated periodically by Oxcyon, and re-distributed in the synch and is encouraged you revisit this page now and then to see of any new links which may be available. Reference URLs also acts as a basic site map for those portals in charge of many Audience Types and Sites, dynamically providing you with a hierarchical list of links of all of your sites, as your portal expands. This page give you the URLs or links that you will commonly be referring to and acts as a helpful area to find what you need as a site administrator.

Site AdministratorsSite Administrators
This module was developed to enable 'multiple' administrators to contribute content to a portal or individual sites within a portal. This module allows individual content managers to be assigned to specific areas of the site, including limitation of specific content types. These administrators (able to access the portal from anywhere in the world) can either post freely to the site, or may be subject to editorial review. Editorial review entails the email notification of content posted to their assigned editor, where it is review, and approved for 'release' to the site.

Each module within Centralpoint offers a 'Posting Status' value, which allows for either 'Release or Hold' status to be placed on a document. This is because of the need for multiple administrators and the editorial review which controls these values.
