Policy Document Governance

Policy governance has an obligation chain that ordinary document management does not, and the chain is only as strong as its weakest link. A policy that is current but unreachable, distributed but unacknowledged, or acknowledged against a version since revised leaves the organization exposed in precisely the way the policy existed to prevent. The evidence has to connect every stage, which requires them to be properties of one record.
