If the model is a commodity, where is the defensibility?

An advantage available to every competitor at the same price is not one. Every organization can rent the same frontier model this quarter, so capability parity at inference is the default rather than an achievement. What differs is the state of each organization's own information and the encoded judgement that makes a general system behave correctly within it.
