AJAX Generic Module(s)

This project would begin by upgrading the Module Designer so that Generic modules could produce multiple outputs.  The Administrator creating the module would be able to choose between a standard (Web Form) UI or a newer AJAX (Angular like) UI.  Then we would build a UI for Generic Enhanced modules based on AJAX.  The module designer itself would contain HTML templates that are updated as the views change by passing updated JSON objects to the server.  This project would lead to a lot of CpScript updates to work with these new AJAX style modules, and possibly to the develop of other AJAX modules using the same framework.

Microsoft Office Plug In (Word, Excel, PPT, Calendar, Outlook)

This is a planned integration with the Microsoft suite of products, allowing any file opened within Centralpoint to be saved (re-saved) directly through Microsoft applications to the Centralpoint portal. In this scenario any document, which may be opened in Word (to be edited) may be resaved as a new version (atop) the old document found within Centralpoint. This plug is expected to be found within the Microsoft File- Save As location universally throughout the MS/Office application suite. This will also include MS/Outlook. In the case of Outlook it is envisioned to incorporate this plug in directly within the New Mail authoring window, so that content from Centralpoint may be included in any new or reply email.

MAIL Condition & Condition Results

Mail condition RESULTS  will work in unison with mail to track any conditions set up in condition results. These trapped conditions may trigger reports, or data movement to other systems. The intention of mail conditions is to allow rules monitoring over mail, and the messages sent between users.

Web Services Designer

This tool is intended to work very much like Module Designer does today, but grant object oriented, design control over web services found in the Web API. In this way, the UI (User Interface) can leverage the re-usable objects within Centralpoint, but extend beyond traditional .net webpages. Like Module Designer, the Home, Results and Details view of any web service can be managed within the Centralpoint architecture.

UI Hub Map

This is planned as a JQuery mind map of the enterprise, including all scheduled data transfers (reflecting all data moving in and out of the enterprise). This mind map will also act as the primary interface in which to initiate new instances of data imports, scheduled tasks (outbound email alerts), and or web services (either consuming data from other systems, or showing other systems consuming information from Centralpoint). This UI interface will act as a live 'traffic management' map, and include any Syndicated data feeds being consumed by outside systems.

MVC Root Extension

A new MvcRoot folder built using ASP.NET Core.  The master console would provide a Framework option when creating a new site: Web Forms or MVC.  When MVC was selected IIS would be set up to use a completely new Root folder, but the Client and Master consoles would work as they do now.  This require a completely new code base for the front end of the site and eventually all front end integrations and modules.  The initial phase of this project would include the development of the framework itself which primarily involves the Site Architecture Modules as well as the UI for Generic modules.  Phase 2 would involve rebuilding additional modules as needed.  Phase 3 would involve the development of an MVC based client console that renders as part of the root folder (like forms management) as opposed to using a separate web application. This will also include MVVM
