Centralpoint Update 8.11.104
Date of Update: Monday, April 21, 2025
Feature | Summary |
DataTransfer CpScript FileAction | A new property named "EnforceUniqueFileName" is supported. When set to true, it prevents files with the same name from being overwritten. |
Centralpoint Contextual Search Engine - Phase 3 Refinements | The third phase of the Centralpoint Contextual Search Engine introduces granular control over the search experience with individually configurable scoring components and a new Strict Search behavior option. Administrators can now selectively enable or disable specific relevance factors (position scoring, freshness scoring, etc.) to precisely tailor search results to their content priorities. The new Strict Search option ensures all query terms must be present in results, ideal for technical documentation and compliance-focused implementations, while the default Flexible Search continues to provide broader relevance-based matches. This release also enhances user experience control by allowing administrators to disable both the automatic navigation to search term locations within content and the post-click term highlighting on destination pages, providing cleaner content viewing while maintaining search result relevance. Additionally, this phase includes recalibrated default scoring parameters based on client implementation feedback, enhancing out-of-the-box relevance while maintaining the extensive customization capabilities introduced in earlier phases. |
