Centralpoint DXP 8.11.90 Advances Data Transfer Capabilities

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

Bath, OH — September 2024 — Oxcyon, Inc. today announced the release of Centralpoint Digital Experience Platform version 8.11.90. Now serving 303 enterprise clients and in its 24th year of operation since its founding on September 1, 2000, Oxcyon continues to deliver regular platform updates across its growing base of enterprise licensees.

Version 8.11.90 delivered the following enhancements to the Centralpoint Digital Experience Platform:

Feature Summary
Master Applications A help file icon will be visible in modules within the master application where applicable.
Data Transfer Notifications Add TotalRowCount support to the Notification Body
Aspose Integration Centralpoint's integration with Aspose has been upgraded to the current Aspose.Total license. There were no breaking changes from this upgrade in Centralpoint's use of Aspose libraries, so the risk of problems related to this are minimal. If a site contains custom code that uses Aspose there is a risk of it breaking. Please create tickets in Oxcyon's Issue Manager and assign them to the Programming team if a website experiences any issues.
DataTransfer CpScript FileAction A new property named "hasCleanPathNames" is supported. This will replace problem characters in folder and file names with an underscore of the destination path. This feature was released to resolve issues reported where special characters in file names create issues when downloaded in browsers. Please see the script builder help file for setup assistance.
CpScript TaxonomyColumn This is a new CpScript that can be used as an alternate to the preview option to return Taxonomy names. The CpScript supports retrieving data from Context or Cache, and also supports a whereClause property that allows the previewed Taxonomy to meet certain conditions rather than the entire Taxonomy dataset. Please read the help file for detailed explanations on these features.

About Oxcyon and Centralpoint

Oxcyon is a technology company specializing in enterprise knowledge platforms, best known for its flagship solution, Centralpoint. Centralpoint is designed to unify structured and unstructured information across organizations, enabling enterprises to aggregate data from disparate systems, normalize it through rich metadata, and transform it into actionable knowledge. By treating information as interconnected knowledge rather than isolated documents or databases, Centralpoint allows organizations to build a true enterprise knowledge layer — one that supports governance, compliance, operational intelligence, and advanced analytics. Its metadata-first architecture enables organizations to ingest, classify, and relate data from sources such as documents, forms, databases, applications, and external systems, creating a centralized environment for discovery, reporting, and operational decision-making.

What differentiates Centralpoint is its ability to go beyond traditional data management into data mining, inferencing, and AI-driven knowledge operations. Through taxonomy systems, relationship modeling, and rule-based data governance, the platform can identify patterns, infer relationships between records, and automate workflow decisions based on contextual intelligence. This capability allows organizations to move from passive data storage to active knowledge processing — surfacing insights, triggering workflows, and powering intelligent automation. With its integrated support for enterprise search, metadata-driven analytics, workflow orchestration, and AI-ready data structures, Centralpoint positions Oxcyon as a leader in modern data aggregation and knowledge intelligence platforms, helping organizations transform complex information ecosystems into governed, searchable, and intelligent operational systems.
